My Journey
Early Entrepreneurial Beginnings
From a young age, I was driven by a passion for business and creativity. Throughout middle school, I was constantly coming up with new ideas. I sold knick-knacks for quarters and sewed clothing for loonies. Just a few years later, I began my social media journey by working as a social media manager for several small businesses in Calgary. These early ventures ignited my interest in entrepreneurship and fuelled my creative spirit, setting the stage for my future endeavours.
Launching a Business
At the age of 18, I founded my own cosmetics company called Lashes by Rose. Over the span of four years, I independently guided the business to international success, earning over 500 five-star reviews. This hands-on experience not only honed my skills in business management, customer service, and digital marketing but also taught me valuable lessons in resilience and adaptability.
Education and Career Venture
While managing my cosmetic business, I pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing. Following the unforeseen closure of my company due to the pandemic, I transitioned into an internship role as a Marketing Coordinator at an international solar development company. After graduating, my internship became a full-time position, where I spent two years honing my expertise in marketing strategy, branding, content creation, and campaign execution.
I then moved into a role as a Content Creator and Copywriter for a boutique marketing agency, where I developed strategic content, managed social media platforms, and crafted compelling brand messaging. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with established brands across various industries, including hospitality, real estate, aviation, education, and e-commerce. My work has encompassed social media management, copywriting, press releases, brand storytelling, and marketing campaigns, allowing me to create impactful strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Alongside my professional endeavours, I delved into a personal social media project. I used my marketing knowledge and experience to start an Instagram page dedicated to my rescue dog. I have witnessed a rapid increase in followers, reaching nearly 10,000 in just over a year, as well as several creative videos going viral. Through partnerships with pet product companies and a keen understanding of social media dynamics, I have reached more than 12.5k followers and have developed an amazing community while refining my craft as a digital content creator.
